Simple match filtering

Currently when searching anything in Aftership, you must start with the same exact string. It would be great for users to adapt it to simple match. Example:
Currently: String 1ZW6522Y0299621269 is not found if you look by 2Y0299621269

Thanks for the suggestion and the clear example.

Right now, search matches from the start of a tracking number. So “1ZW652…” will find your shipment, but a segment from the middle or end (like “2Y0299621269”) won’t.

Matching any part of the number isn’t on our near-term roadmap. We’ll keep this idea open to see how many other customers ask for it.

In the meantime, search with the full number or its first few characters and the shipment will come up.
