Add Order Grouping by Store and Custom Groups

Mohd Faizan

It would be very helpful to have an option to group orders by store/company name (e.g., all Amazon orders together, all eBay orders together, etc.). This way, I could collapse or expand groups and quickly view only the orders I want. Additionally, it would be great if users could create their own custom groups for even more flexibility.

I want all orders over $30 to show a shipping fee of only $2, because this is subsidized by TikTok.

personalize reporting and scheduling

Our warehouse needs to know how many returns were requested on a daily basis so they can plan their resources accordingly. but it is not an option for now. It would be nice if we could build our own reports and schedule it.

Tracking by Account Number

Chris Nichols
November 6, 2024 at 10:34 pm
As a user, I'd like the ability to pull in tracking numbers to my dashboard by parcel account number so that I can view all shipments assigned to a specific or multiple parcel accounts.   For example I have 10 parcel accounts (4 with DHL and 6 with FedEx). I'd like the ability to utilize the parcel account number(s) instead of the API to pull in tracking associated with my parcel accounts.

Influencer referral previews are off-brand and damaging to our image

Johan Slabert

The current OpenGraph meta preview generated by AfterShip's referral link system is unacceptable. We run a professional e-commerce business in South Africa selling premium seat covers, yet the influencer link preview looks like a child’s sticker book. Confetti, a USD coupon graphic, and a generic "Get special offers" line? Completely irrelevant, off-brand, and frankly embarrassing when shared by influencers. This isn’t just a design problem. It reflects poorly on our business when our partners share this link on Facebook and social platforms. It gives the impression of an unprofessional or scammy brand — damaging our credibility and costing us leads. We don’t even use USD as our currency. Why are you pushing American coupon-style banners to international stores?

Email Updates Box - Complaints from Customers

Victoria Lomax
October 30, 2026 at 10:21 am
Hi,   We have AfterShip built into our BigCommerce store by default. I'm not sure who to reach out to, so I would appreciate if you could please direct this to the appropriate department for me. We have received several customer complaints that when they check their shipment tracking information, they are finding the information in the orange box in the attachment misleading. Basically, where there is an option to enter your email address for delivery updates, next to it, it shows examples such as out for delivery, delivered. A lot of customers have seen this and genuinely thought that is the tracking information. More so on mobile devices, where the screen is smaller, so unless they scroll, the actual tracking is not visible. They’ve then contacted us, as their order has not been delivered and then complained that the information is confusing. Is it possible to redesign this to ensure it’s less misleading, even if it's just really boring and is a box to enter the email?   I appreciate you taking the time to consider this. Happy to assist if you need any further information. Kind regards, Vicky

Update indicator dot color

Visitor
August 3, 2026 at 11:52 am
Change the update indicator Dot from the light blue color to the orange color you already use in your iOS app. It is hard to pick out the dot if you have a long list of shipments. If it was the orange color you already use in the app it should be a simple change to make for an updated version. Also so carriers on the list of carriers to pick from are now asking for receiving zip, so those carriers never update now.  Thanks

Searchable Idea Portal

Seems like a basic thing, but when I have an enhancement I'd like to submit, I want to ensure I don't duplicate someone else's submission.  Obviously that's why there is an 'upvote' button.  The only way to determine if there is something worth upvoting is to scroll through the entire list from top to bottom.

Exclude specific products from exchange eligibility in the "Shop Now" (exchange on your own website) flow

Roqeeb Olaniyi

What is the context  When using AfterShip Returns with the "Shop Now" / "exchange for anything" option that redirects customers to shop on the merchant's own store, customers can select any product available on the store as their exchange item. What issue do you want to address? There is currently no way to exclude specific products from being selectable as exchange items in this flow. The existing exclusion controls (the block list and excluding products from recommendations via product tags) only apply when AfterShip is recommending products or when "Exchange on AfterShip returns page" is selected. When customers shop directly on the merchant's own website via "Shop Now," these exclusions do not apply, so restricted products remain selectable. This allows customers to exchange low-value items for high-value products, resulting in margin loss and exchange abuse. The only current workaround, switching to "Exchange on AfterShip returns page," removes the on-store shopping experience the merchant wants to keep.   What outcome do you expect? The ability to exclude specific products from being eligible exchange items while still using the "Shop Now" flow where customers shop on the merchant's own website. Ideally the exclusion could be defined by SKU, in addition to collection or product tag, since some merchants do not have the relevant products grouped in a collection and may not have access to create collections in Shopify.   Who will benefit from your idea? Merchants using the "Shop Now" exchange flow who need to prevent certain products from being selected as exchange items, protecting their margins and preventing exchange abuse while preserving the branded on-site shopping experience during exchanges.
