Personalized discount display rule

So, as a seller who often runs campaigns, I would love to have a cool discount setup that can be customized based on how customers behave. For example, I could keep discounts hidden for shoppers with shopping carts over $1,000 but display them for those who have smaller carts, so that they would shop more to get a better discount. This strategy can be effectively applied to our product recommendations, enhancing conversion rates and boosting average order values.

For the hair industry, ensuring timely delivery is critical, as customers expect to receive their products in a timely manner, especially for events like weddings, parties, or other special occasions. Additionally, offering automated notifications at each stage of the shipping process — from dispatch to in-transit updates and delivery confirmation — would allow customers to stay informed and reduce anxiety around the arrival of their products. A specific feature that would be beneficial in the hair industry is providing an estimated delivery window based on the type of hair products purchased, considering how delicate and time-sensitive hair products can be. Another improvement could be offering customized delivery options, like express shipping for urgent orders or delivery tracking tailored to customers’ needs based on their location, enhancing convenience and customer experience. Enhance the process of uneven exchanges for “Replace with the same item”

As a merchant, I allow shoppers to exchange items for different variants during returns, which may have different prices. For example, a Small size costs $30 while a Large size costs $50. Currently, Shopify allows me to adjust prices manually only after the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is submitted. If aftership could facilitate charging or refunding price differences for variants during the return request process, it would greatly streamline our operations and enhancing the overall efficiency of RMA management.

Highlight which module/box is selected during RMA Request Flow

Items + return reasons are not clearly highlighted/shown as selected, during the Return Request flow on the RC portal. Request: During the return flow more clearly define that an item/return resolution is selected. i.e. have text say “Selected” or have the box change colour when an item/resolution is selected beyond just the black box.

Enhance exchange process for tax reporting reconciliation purpose

As a business owner, having precise accounting records is essential for tax purposes. It's particularly important to account for returns correctly by adjusting for them and deducting the relevant taxes to prevent overpayment. I've observed that Shopify currently only accommodates refunds, lacking store credit or exchange options for returns. Therefore, if aftership Return could support all three options and assist in reconciling taxes and producing accurate tax reports for returns, it would greatly benefit our operations.

Shopify checkout for Returns

As a merchant, I would like to charge the cost of return when the shopper chooses to replace the returned item. aftership Returns provides Stripe checkout only for this scenario, but I don't have a Stripe account, I would like to use my Shopify checkout to charge the exchange upsell and cost of return. So that I don't have to open a Stripe checkout and manage two accounts (Shopify and Stripe checkout) at the same time.

Provide Cost of tracking as data in analytics

The ability to see how much it cost per tracking label for the carrier, alongside all the other analytics would be beneficial to business operations. Having “cost” as a piece of data collect and display in analytics will help us make larger business decisions when it comes to choice of carrier preferences to know which carrier is best to work with in the long run. I believe this feature will be great value add to Aftership as well!

Anti-fraud reporting and risk checks

As a business owner, I am seeking a system that can facilitate risk level scoring for each RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and enable my staff to input risk assessment findings based on actual RMA inspections. This system will enable us to assess risk levels effectively and respond accordingly. Moreover, the system will allow for the reporting of any detected fraud instances. Implementing this system is crucial for mitigating fraud occurrences, as well as proactively preventing future fraudulent activities. Such measures are instrumental in safeguarding my business's profitability in the long term.
