API Integration for Instagram Feed

Andrew Bird
August 14, 2025 at 12:47 pm
I'd like to log an enhancement request for the Tracking page editor. Currently the section where we add social media connectors is limited in connection options. Specifically for Instagram (which is a really cool feature) the only way to connect is using our own credentials (user name/password login). This is an unacceptable option as it exposes us to being hacked and is a security concern obviously. The better way to do this is via Instagram's API connection: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-platform. Can you please log that as a high priority enhancement request? Should we decided to stay with AfterShip, this will be a critical branding requirement.

Customs Clearance

Hi, I hope you can include a column where users can also see "WHEN" the order arrived in customs clearance and "WHEN" it was released. I am referring to ALL orders, not just the delayed orders.

Tracking by Account Number

Chris Nichols
November 6, 2024 at 10:34 pm
As a user, I'd like the ability to pull in tracking numbers to my dashboard by parcel account number so that I can view all shipments assigned to a specific or multiple parcel accounts.   For example I have 10 parcel accounts (4 with DHL and 6 with FedEx). I'd like the ability to utilize the parcel account number(s) instead of the API to pull in tracking associated with my parcel accounts.

Email Updates Box - Complaints from Customers

Victoria Lomax
October 30, 2026 at 10:21 am
Hi,   We have AfterShip built into our BigCommerce store by default. I'm not sure who to reach out to, so I would appreciate if you could please direct this to the appropriate department for me. We have received several customer complaints that when they check their shipment tracking information, they are finding the information in the orange box in the attachment misleading. Basically, where there is an option to enter your email address for delivery updates, next to it, it shows examples such as out for delivery, delivered. A lot of customers have seen this and genuinely thought that is the tracking information. More so on mobile devices, where the screen is smaller, so unless they scroll, the actual tracking is not visible. They’ve then contacted us, as their order has not been delivered and then complained that the information is confusing. Is it possible to redesign this to ensure it’s less misleading, even if it's just really boring and is a box to enter the email?   I appreciate you taking the time to consider this. Happy to assist if you need any further information. Kind regards, Vicky

Return comments on reports

Mariko Peet
September 15, 2025 at 8:57 pm
We would love to be able to see the return comment information our customers provide when returning items within the return reports we download. Our customers are using the comment box to describe the return reason in depth but this information is lost when it comes to dowloading the return reports.

Add a Shipping Status Button for Completed Orders directly inside WooCoomerce

Giulio Riotta
January 24, 2025 at 1:59 pm
Good morning, It would be incredibly useful to enhance the WooCommerce plugin by adding a button to the Orders section for each completed order. This button would allow customers to directly view the shipping status and the various stages leading up to delivery on the store’s website. For those managing e-commerce platforms, keeping users on the site is crucial. That’s why this feature would be so beneficial! Additionally, it would encourage users to create an account on the site, which would be another positive outcome. Thank you.

Title: Integrate ParcelApp for Unified Tracking – One Tracking Number for Multiple Carriers

Mario Labault
March 3, 2025 at 10:27 pm
Description: Aftership is a powerful tracking solution, but one major limitation is its inability to seamlessly track shipments handled by multiple carriers under a single tracking number. This creates gaps in tracking visibility, especially for cross-border shipments, multi-leg deliveries, or packages transferred between courier services. Why Aftership Needs ParcelApp Integration ParcelApp is a cutting-edge tracking solution that can consolidate multiple carrier updates into a single tracking number, ensuring a continuous, uninterrupted tracking experience—something Aftership currently lacks. Integrating ParcelApp into Aftership would provide several benefits: One Tracking Number, Full Visibility Many shipments pass through multiple carriers (e.g., a package starts with FedEx, then transfers to USPS). ParcelApp aggregates tracking data across different couriers, allowing customers to track their shipments without needing multiple tracking numbers or checking different carrier websites. Eliminate Tracking Gaps & Improve Accuracy Currently, when a package changes carriers, Aftership often loses visibility until the new carrier scans the shipment. With ParcelApp’s integration, tracking would remain consistent, even if the carrier changes mid-transit. Essential for Cross-Border and Dropshipping Businesses Global commerce relies on multi-carrier logistics. Many eCommerce sellers and dropshipping businesses depend on third-party logistics providers (3PLs) that transfer packages between multiple carriers before final delivery. ParcelApp ensures that customers don’t lose visibility just because a package has switched to a new courier. Enhanced Customer Experience & Reduced Support Inquiries When customers see tracking gaps, they flood support teams with "Where is my order?" questions. By integrating ParcelApp, Aftership can provide end-to-end tracking accuracy, reducing customer frustration and cutting down unnecessary support requests. Proposed Solution: Integrate ParcelApp (https://parcelsapp.com/) directly into Aftership’s tracking system to allow shipments with multiple carriers to be tracked under a single tracking number. Ensure that ParcelApp's multi-carrier tracking capabilities work seamlessly within Aftership’s dashboard, API, and branded tracking pages. Offer this as a standard feature for all Aftership users, as it enhances the core value of Aftership by improving tracking consistency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. By adding this integration, Aftership would take a huge leap forward in solving a major pain point for businesses and customers alike, making it an even more indispensable tracking solution in the logistics and eCommerce space.

Add Walmart Seller MCF as a Feed Connection

Megan Bailey
March 20, 2026 at 3:17 pm
Hello,  We currently use AfterShip Feed to connect our Amazon Seller account to TikTok Shop. But it would be fantastic to be able to also connect with Walmart Seller's MCF. It would allow even greater reach of products on more sales channels.
