Multiple Tracking Numbers - Comma Separated

Oliver Mortimer
October 25, 2024 at 12:22 pm
When I receive tracking from suppliers, I add manually to AfterShip.  Usually there's more than 1 tracking number, for the same courier, so it would be great to able to add multiple tracking numbers at the same time as comma separated.   When clicking Save, it would then use all the information entered, for example; Customer name, order number etc etc.   Below example for tracking number 123456789 and 987654321

Feature Request: Add "GLS Canada" to Enhanced MPS Visibility Supported List

Hieu Huynh
January 22, 2026 at 9:41 am
1. What is the context?  * We are currently a Premium plan subscriber operating a high-volume merchant shipping 68% of our Canadian orders via GLS Canada. We are looking to utilize the Enhanced MPS Visibility feature to improve our customer experience.   * Currently, your documentation lists carriers like FedEx, UPS, and DHL as supported for MPS, but GLS Canada is excluded. When we contacted support, we were told this is due to "carrier limitations.   2. What issue do you want to address? We believe the "carrier limitation" rationale may be outdated or incorrect because AfterShip is already successfully pulling data for GLS child packages. * Evidence: On GLS Canada tracking number P97186751, AfterShip retrieves events for both Package 1 (Delivered Nov 21) and Package 2 (Delivered Nov 19). * The Problem: Because GLS Canada is not on your "Supported Carriers" list for MPS logic, your system aggregates these distinct events into a single "scrambled" timeline instead of separating them into tabs. * The Gap: The data exists in your system; the parsing logic to separate "Master" vs. "Child" is simply missing for this specific carrier. 3. What outcome do you expect? * We request that the product team add GLS Canada to the Enhanced MPS Visibility supported carrier list * We need the system to recognize the child packages it is already detecting and display them in separate tabs (Piece 1, Piece 2), just as it does for FedEx or UPS.   4. Who will benefit from your idea? * Merchants: This allows Canadian merchants to use your Enterprise MPS features for their dominant carrier, reducing support tickets regarding "confusing" status updates. * AfterShip: It improves the value of your Enterprise plan for the Canadian market by supporting the region's major logistics provider.

Provide Cost of tracking as data in analytics

Ethan White
May 23, 2024 at 1:17 pm
The ability to see how much it cost per tracking label for the carrier, alongside all the other analytics would be beneficial to business operations.   Having “cost” as a piece of data collect and display in analytics will help us make larger business decisions when it comes to choice of carrier preferences to know which carrier is best to work with in the long run. I believe this feature will be great value add to Aftership as well!

Claude integration

Janis Tello
October 9, 2026 at 10:06 pm
Title: Feature request: Claude MCP connector for AfterShip Returns AfterShip Returns should offer an official Claude MCP connector. Claude already connects to Shopify, Gmail, Slack, and Google Drive, so many merchants run their daily operations through it. Returns data is the missing piece. Without a connector, teams still have to open the portal, find the return, and copy details into customer replies or reports by hand. A connector would make it possible to ask questions like: “What’s the status of the return on order #1234?” “Which returns from last week haven’t been refunded yet?” “What are the top return reasons this month?” “Which SKUs have the highest return rate?” Why it should be added: Faster customer service. “Where’s my refund?” emails could be answered in seconds using live return data. Fewer errors. Order numbers, tracking, and refund amounts would come straight from AfterShip instead of being copied manually. More accessible reporting. Small teams without a dedicated analyst could get insight from return data in plain language. A connected workflow. Returns would link up with the order, email, and team tools merchants already use with Claude. Keeps AfterShip central. As more operations move through AI assistants, the platforms that connect to them become the ones merchants depend on. Read-only access would be a strong starting point: return lookups, statuses, reasons, and refund/exchange outcomes. Actions like approving or rejecting requests could follow later, with confirmation steps built in.

Titles should update with count of items in the section so you know it's updating and should be clicked on.

With your ads...you lost me.

Glen Wolinsky
October 7, 2026 at 6:15 pm
I have loved your app from the start. And improvements made along the way have been spot on. But now you lost me in both content and execution.    First, you put in ads. One of things I loved was no ads. But, hey, that revenues hard to pass up forever, especially after you've built your user base.   Second, I could have dealt with the ads if you had placed in a footer bar. But when you place the ads as large blocks right in the middle of the data, you lost me.   I was a developer for over 30 years on several different platforms. I must say that decision alone makes my top 20 of bad UI choices.   So, I will be unloading your app in favor of one that has no ads and all the functionality I need. It is a shame, because you do beat them out in feature, although not too much.   If you would at least move them to the footer then I would most likely return

Shopify checkout for Returns

Victoria Ward
March 19, 2024 at 11:29 pm
As a merchant, I would like to charge the cost of return when the shopper chooses to replace the returned item.  aftership Returns provides Stripe checkout only for this scenario, but I don't have a Stripe account, I would like to use my Shopify checkout to charge the exchange upsell and cost of return. So that I don't have to open a Stripe checkout and manage two accounts (Shopify and Stripe checkout) at the same time.

Allow order editing permissions to be configured per country

Roqeeb Olaniyi
September 15, 2026 at 10:42 pm
We'd like the ability to restrict which order-editing options are available on a per-country basis, rather than applying the same set of options globally.   Many merchants work with regional checkout or fulfillment partners (e.g. Global-E) that prohibit certain order changes after an order is placed in specific countries. For example, a merchant might need to limit editing to only "apply discount code" and "cancel order" for a subset of countries, while keeping the full set of editing options available everywhere else.   Being able to configure order-editing permissions by country/region would help merchants stay compliant with regional partner restrictions without giving up flexibility in other markets.
