Data Export from Phone App
Neil Glassy
July 19, 2026 at 1:40 pm
It would be incredibly helpful if there was a way to export the shipping data from the phone app. It would be extremely simple and improve the apps usefuleness.
It would also be incredibly helpful if there was a way to have the phone app on the computer. I know the browser version is different and designed for merchants while the phone app is designed for recipients. But, it would be easy to create a aftership.com/recipients version of the app on the computer that just syncs the shipments across devices.

Configurable "item not found image" with Returns Portal item selection for items that dont have image URL
Jason Ma
February 3, 2025 at 10:07 pm
Like to set their own “Image not found” image for Products in the Returns Portal. That way, If a Product is not sent to AfterShip with an Image URL, they have an image that looks more branded.
Today, when an item does have an img url, the Return Portal defaults to the missing image icon.
Request - have a function within Return Portal where if any items on my return portal dont have an image URL, it can set to a image that I select instead of defaulting to the standard broken/no image icon.

Publish Webhook Outgoing IPs as a Machine-Readable Plain-Text Endpoint
Martinho Dias
June 3, 2026 at 7:47 pm
Currently, AfterShip's webhook outgoing IP list is only available on an HTML documentation page (https://www.aftership.com/docs/tracking/webhook/webhook-outgoing-ips). This makes it impossible to automate IP allowlist management in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) workflows.
Problem:
Teams that use IP-based firewalls to secure their webhook endpoints must manually monitor the documentation page for any IP changes and update their firewall rules accordingly. If a change is missed, it can cause webhook delivery failures and broken integrations.
Request:
Please publish the webhook outgoing IP list as a dedicated plain-text endpoint — similar to how Cloudflare publishes theirs at https://www.cloudflare.com/ips-v4 — where each IP is returned on a separate line.
This would allow teams to:
* Fetch the IP list programmatically as part of their CI/CD or IaC pipelines
* Keep firewall allowlists automatically in sync without manual intervention
* Avoid service disruptions caused by missed IP changes
This is a standard practice among major API providers and would significantly improve the developer experience for customers who manage network security programmatically.

Filter Shipping Exceptions
Jamie Fernandez
April 9, 2025 at 8:04 pm
Would like to be able to filter the shipping exceptions so I only receive ones for damages. Especially after a club run, we can receive many notices for delivery exceptions which can include delays, intercepts, etc. However, the ones we would primarily like to receive are for damages. we would like to catch these before the customer reaches out to let us know or from the return report.

Suggestion: Add Lazada Express (LEX MY / LEL) Support for Malaysia.

Suggestion: Add Lazada Express (LEX MY / LEL) Support for Malaysia
Hi,
I would like to suggest adding Lazada Express (LEX MY / LEL) as a supported courier/carrier on your app and website.
Lazada Express is the official delivery courier used by Lazada in Malaysia, similar to how SPX Express / Shopee Express is the official courier for Shopee. Many Lazada shipments in Malaysia are handled by LEX, so having direct tracking support would be very useful for Malaysian users.
The official LEX Malaysia tracking website is:
https://lex.com.my/
For testing purposes, you can use these example tracking numbers:
LXST191548638MY
MYMPA257159996
I hope you can consider implementing Lazada Express (LEX MY / LEL) support soon. As Lazada is widely used in Malaysia, I believe many users would appreciate being able to add and track their LEX shipments directly through your app and website instead of having to visit the LEX website separately.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I hope LEX MY support can be added in a future update!

There should be an option to just cancel the return without rejecting it.
Sometimes client decide to bring it to a store after doing the initial return.

Carry over discounts for exchange on same items
Amy McDonnell
January 23, 2025 at 4:33 am
It would be great if we could allow the discount to carry over to the new order if a customer is just exchanging a size, at the moment our customer is choosing to refund rather then exchange sizing because they have to pay the difference between the original discounted price and the price.

Send a returned - refunded email to the customer when marked in Aftership as received
Ash Ash.Com
May 13, 2026 at 1:30 pm
1. customer is NOT receiving any email from Aftership when a return has been received, refunded and resolved.
2. We are getting chargebacks from customers claiming they were not notified and advised a refund was on its way.
3. their bank (JPM) has sided with customers even though we have shown the ARP info from the return details.
4. An email advising of a received and pending refund would be quite helpful.
5. ALL other companies send these emails of pending refund, except Aftership/Shopify does not.
6. Its creating a lot of work and loss of revenue for our company.

Free-Plan Analytics Dashboard for Tracking Page Performance
David james
July 14, 2025 at 10:47 am
Hi AfterShip Community,
Context: I run a small Shopify store (~50 orders/month) using AfterShip’s free plan to track shipments (USPS, UPS). While the free plan offers basic tracking (Web:10), there’s no way to analyze tracking page performance (e.g., visitor clicks, engagement) without upgrading to premium plans, which can be costly for small businesses (Web:18).
Issue: Small merchants lack access to basic analytics on the free plan to understand how customers interact with tracking pages, limiting optimization efforts.
Outcome: I propose a lightweight analytics dashboard in the free plan, showing metrics like tracking page visits and click-through rates (e.g., to return portals). This would help optimize post-purchase experiences without needing a paid plan.
Beneficiaries: Small e-commerce businesses, startups, and solo entrepreneurs using the free plan would gain insights to improve customer engagement and retention.
What do you think? Any similar needs or suggestions to refine this idea?
