Update indicator dot color

Visitor
August 3, 2026 at 11:52 am
Change the update indicator Dot from the light blue color to the orange color you already use in your iOS app. It is hard to pick out the dot if you have a long list of shipments. If it was the orange color you already use in the app it should be a simple change to make for an updated version. Also so carriers on the list of carriers to pick from are now asking for receiving zip, so those carriers never update now.  Thanks

I want to be able to mask certain words such as 'flight'and ''import'', or ''customs''. As for EU customers this is not relevant infromation and they faster think goods are from china and want to return faster. When they see basic info and a EDD they are assured everything is good. They dont neem more info.

Highlight which module/box is selected during RMA Request Flow

Jason Ma

Items + return reasons are not clearly highlighted/shown as selected, during the Return Request flow on the RC portal.    Request: During the return flow more clearly define that an item/return resolution is selected. i.e. have text say “Selected” or have the box change colour when an item/resolution is selected beyond just the black box.

Support setting the total number of emails that can be sent by each contact within a certain period of time (frequency), including flows and newsletters.   I aim to reduce interruptions for my customers while still capturing important messages, which is why I am seeking more flexibility in the configurations.

Email Updates Box - Complaints from Customers

Victoria Lomax
October 30, 2026 at 10:21 am
Hi,   We have AfterShip built into our BigCommerce store by default. I'm not sure who to reach out to, so I would appreciate if you could please direct this to the appropriate department for me. We have received several customer complaints that when they check their shipment tracking information, they are finding the information in the orange box in the attachment misleading. Basically, where there is an option to enter your email address for delivery updates, next to it, it shows examples such as out for delivery, delivered. A lot of customers have seen this and genuinely thought that is the tracking information. More so on mobile devices, where the screen is smaller, so unless they scroll, the actual tracking is not visible. They’ve then contacted us, as their order has not been delivered and then complained that the information is confusing. Is it possible to redesign this to ensure it’s less misleading, even if it's just really boring and is a box to enter the email?   I appreciate you taking the time to consider this. Happy to assist if you need any further information. Kind regards, Vicky

Removing the background in the mobile view of emails

Giulio Riotta
January 24, 2025 at 1:30 pm
Good morning, When viewing notification emails on a mobile device, the background colour only appears at the top as a small strip. As a result, the background colour on the sides and beneath the email is completely lost. I therefore propose hiding the background area entirely on mobile, displaying only what is within the content background, which is the main body of the email. Thank you.

need readable email notice for refund pending resolved return

Ash Ash.Com

The vendor/supplier's email should be copied when sending any type of response to the customer regarding a return.  This includes the RMA confirmation of return, tracking label and when it is received, refunded and resolved.   We/supplier are getting chargebacks through Shopify from customers stating that their returns are not refunded in a timely manner and we have no way to get the email to show that it was processed in Aftership and to dispute a chargeback with shopify.   We have no copies sent to us.   Please fix this issue in Aftership/Shopify immediately.  Thank you.

Claude integration

Title: Feature request: Claude MCP connector for AfterShip Returns AfterShip Returns should offer an official Claude MCP connector. Claude already connects to Shopify, Gmail, Slack, and Google Drive, so many merchants run their daily operations through it. Returns data is the missing piece. Without a connector, teams still have to open the portal, find the return, and copy details into customer replies or reports by hand. A connector would make it possible to ask questions like: “What’s the status of the return on order #1234?” “Which returns from last week haven’t been refunded yet?” “What are the top return reasons this month?” “Which SKUs have the highest return rate?” Why it should be added: Faster customer service. “Where’s my refund?” emails could be answered in seconds using live return data. Fewer errors. Order numbers, tracking, and refund amounts would come straight from AfterShip instead of being copied manually. More accessible reporting. Small teams without a dedicated analyst could get insight from return data in plain language. A connected workflow. Returns would link up with the order, email, and team tools merchants already use with Claude. Keeps AfterShip central. As more operations move through AI assistants, the platforms that connect to them become the ones merchants depend on. Read-only access would be a strong starting point: return lookups, statuses, reasons, and refund/exchange outcomes. Actions like approving or rejecting requests could follow later, with confirmation steps built in.
