Hi,
The data when the shipment is created at the carrier is important for shipment analysis.
Example:

In our business we refund direcly in Shopify for our returns that are made from our online website. It would be nice if the status of Shopify shows refunded or partically refund that Aftership would show the return as resolved. Some of the tracking information has to be put in manaully and we have multiple people on our team and if they do not do it correctly our customers receive emails that their return was not send and is expiring when they have already been refunded.
There is a massive discrepancy between the notificaiton customization capabilities within the Tracking module and the Returns module. In the Returns module, all you can do is update the messaging. There is no ability to alter colours, add logos, images, or otherwise truly 'brand' the notifications. All of this exists in the Tracking module. Recommendation is that you port over the same functionality into the Returns module ASAP. Those notification emails are currently a horrific customer experience.
My idea is that when a shipment comes in from China to America, instead of each parcel going right to LAX through customs, each one should go to it's respective state and provence, every state has a sorting and customs center,it would just make it easier to make one stop instead of two or three on the way to the packages final point of delivery,
For the tracking page I am currently using, it would be great to have the Delivery Instructions feature, so that my customers can provide specific instructions to carriers, and ensure successful deliveries.
This feature will also be valuable for drivers who can have all the necessary information at their fingertips, even for dispatchers who can manage delivery more effectively with all that info.
A seamless last-mile delivery experience can create a sense of reliability and convenience that fosters long-term customer relationships and encourages repeat purchases for my brand.
We'd like the ability to restrict which order-editing options are available on a per-country basis, rather than applying the same set of options globally.
Many merchants work with regional checkout or fulfillment partners (e.g. Global-E) that prohibit certain order changes after an order is placed in specific countries. For example, a merchant might need to limit editing to only "apply discount code" and "cancel order" for a subset of countries, while keeping the full set of editing options available everywhere else.
Being able to configure order-editing permissions by country/region would help merchants stay compliant with regional partner restrictions without giving up flexibility in other markets.
Would like to be able to filter the shipping exceptions so I only receive ones for damages. Especially after a club run, we can receive many notices for delivery exceptions which can include delays, intercepts, etc. However, the ones we would primarily like to receive are for damages. we would like to catch these before the customer reaches out to let us know or from the return report.
